As you can see from my sideboard, there are combo ideas floating over there, but I'd rather avoid infinites unless the deck just gets pounded on without ever having a chance to cast Izoni even once. I'm only just getting comfortable with the idea of dredging to replace my draw, as my decks have always been super duper heavy on card advantage. My newest project is to try and dredge to make tokens, using ]. The spikier "get that win" part of me lives in my cEDH decks, while I enjoy just "doing the thing" when playing lower powered decks. Krosan Grip or Nature's Claim? If you've got further suggestions, they can also be looked into too and I can give reasons for (or against) running it in this deck. I've been having a debate with a friend all night, and he still thinks Krosan Grip is the better card, because Claim gains them life, but he hasn't seen the damage output of this deck, so I don't think his opinion matters for much. I remember running someone else's list for Selvala, Explorer Returned, they ran a Nature's Claim over Krosan Grip, and I don't remember the reason. I post it here partly as a recommended list (as of yet, I have lost once with it, after 7 successful tests previous to it), but partly to get some input on a choice I've been debating about for a while. A lot of tinkering, but I'm happy overall with the choices I've made for it. ![]() ![]() So for the most part, the skeleton of Jarad, Golgari Dredge Lord was easy enough to throw together. ![]()
